INDIA

The Himalayas are rugged but oh so beautiful -

Believe it or not - this is the main highway
 Awesome isn't it?
This is the highest motorable road in the world at 18380ft or 5602metres according to my calculator.  In one direction you can see China, in the other - Pakistan.

PATAGONIA

Thought it was time to add some of our amazing scenic shots - just beautiful
The mountains of Torres del Paine - I was lucky enough to get this shot with
the setting sun reflecting off the vibrant colours of the mountain
Awesome Perito Merino Glacier - It's difficult to find a word which describes this wonder......
Spectacular but so, so cold.  It was like being in a refrigerator.
More spectacular colours in this glacier fed lake - the boys worked hard riding the rugged road
surrounding its' shores while I took it easy in the support vehicle.

The family goat gets pride of place when this Moroccan family are on the move

This little girl appeared out of a roadside culvert in the middle of nowhere asking us for water

When a group of motorbikes pull up for lunch on the outskirts of your village
of course you're interested so these kids found a perch on a piece of rock
and enjoyed the spectacle

Shake that booty!

A wizened face on the shores of the Amazon

Children of the Amazon

In Iquitos street sellers plied their goods to the crowd

We visited a village in the Amazon and the kids were happy and relaxed with wide smiles

A ferry ride in Bolivia was a bit confused and the
first ferry left without us.  Luckily we hitched a ride
with the support vehicle on the next boat and
safely reached the other side to ride into La Paz just
as darkness closed in.

The crisp white Shanti Stupa in Leh, in Jammu & Kashmir in India set against the startling blue cloudless sky makes a striking comparison of colours.
